P.S: Just realised there's some confusion, as others have mentioned an Ellen Glew born 1795... so should add that my Ellen was the seond child of the same name - although I didn't find a burial entry in the registers, (but that happens a lot), there was an earlier 'Ellin' [sic] Glew, born also to Thomas and Elizabeth, baptised 15.9.1795 at Wistow. For those of you who have her on your tree, she seems to have died as the one I'm descended from was born to the same parents and baptised 23.9.1804, in Wistow. Her father, Thomas Glew was the son of Geoffrey Glew and Ellen Pearson.Ellen's death is in the Wistow PR, 31.10.1757.
