John Thomas Glew from New Brunswick, Canada

John Thomas Glew was my grandfather, born in New Richmond, NB, Canada about 1869. He died when my dad was six, so don't know much about him. His parents were John and Peggy Flinton or Clinton Glew. They did have about 5 children - Harriet, the oldest and John the youngest. There was also Sarah, and some whose names I do not know. The mother, Peggy, died when her children were young, and John farmed them out to the neighbors. It is believed that they then took on the name of the family that raised them. Harriet, the oldest, was raised by a family named Neale, but she also kept the Glew name, and thus I was able to find her descendents. However I know nothing about John and Peggy...where they came from, when they came, etc. Does anyone know anything at all about this branch of the Glews?
