Hi Jane

My Glew ancestors were brickmakers and Methodists in the Isle of Axeholme area of north Lincolnshire during the 1700's. I have not come across any John and Charlotte's in my searches during the 1840's but there are plenty of Glew's in the Isle that I have not looked at. My branch of the family left the area for Hull and Leeds in the early 1800's.
Do you not have access to any census information about John that could point to a starting place?

If you want any details about my brickmaking ancestors I can send it.
Bye for now

Geoff
