Hey there Wbh....Thank you for the info...
I found those on the SSDIndex as well....The Harry one is intriguing, because several census' show his estimated year of birth as being 1882...but I found an early census from Canada that lists his birth as Oct 1880 (he was born in Canada, but to an American Mother and Canadian Father), and several marriage listings that also list it as 1880.His SS# would probably have been issued by Mass (which the one you posted here is), since it appears that the family [Harry's parents] had two homes that they alternated periodically, Canada and Quincy Ma.)
Bertha was born December 9, 1885.So, none of those seem to match. The fact that one died in VT (where I know their son died) and another died in NH (where Harry's Grandfather was born) is rather interesting....maybe her date of birth was written wrong when she registered to get a Social Security number???...I don't know....but going with what I DO know, those three Bertha's don't match.... and, her state of SS# issue would be Massachusetts (I'm assuming.... since she was born in Mass, and they lived in Mass up until at least the 1930 census)
Thank you so much for taking the time to look those up.Any info is great info. And several sets of eyes, looking at things from different perspectives is better than just one observer.
:)
