In searching for my John Glime b. 1828 PA, the John you mention has been suggested to be the father of my John by the Gleim genealogist who also believed John of WV to be the son of George Christian Gleim of Germantown PA. This, I believe, is pure speculation based on time location and names.

In the cemetery records of Parkersburg and Wood Co. by John House, Elizabeth Gleim Gillum 1835-1882 is shown buried in the same plot as U.S. District court Judge, John Jay Jackson 1824-1907 and his wife Harriet Catherine Gleim who was born in 1813.
Also buried in that plot are Elizabeth, wife of John Gleim 1791-1850 and Sarah Gleim Hockaday d. 1829.

In the Wood Co. Va cemetery list online Judge Jackson's wife is called Caroline. Could that be Carrie? If Caroline and Emma are sisters, with same mother, there age difference would indicate there may have been a large family. I would like to compare more
notes with you. Please e-mail me.
