I am a decendant of William Glover and Lucy Reeves Glover. This William Glover was the son of James Glover of York County SC. William's grandfather is legended to be William Glover too, who migrated from Virginia to Mecklenburg County NC to land posted in 1767. The family lived in the Fort Mill area of SC and the Steel Creek area of Mecklenburg County NC. With the change of the state line from NC to SC many times the farm was listed in both states at times.
Our 1780's William Glover married Lucy Reeves. He and his two oldest brothers worked on Willis Reeves farm in York County SC. His brothers were Hartwell and James Barnes Glover. If this helps you I have more info.
