John was Peter and Sarah's brother, there were some Glover's about 50 miles Southwest of Goodnestone whose line goes back another 500 years but Richard had moved to Yelden on the northwest side of London about 120 miles away from Goodnestone and lost track of his father and grandfather whom I cannot locate at all. Richard's son sailed away and came to America around 1650. He fathered William in 1653 in Rappahanock Virginia and died at sea near Sulawesi Tengah Indonesia in 1684. He must have been a merchant or captain of a vessel cause he purchased several hundred acres in Virginia and the family was quiet well off.
