My gggrandfather was WILLIAM "BUCK" CARAWAY (1836-1916) of Benton County, TN. His parents were JOHN CARAWAY (b. 1814) and SIS GLOVER. I have been told that SIS was a daughter of JOSEPH GLOVER and CELIA WOMBLE. They had another daughter MARTHA A. GLOVER (b 1829) who married JOHN'S brother WILLIAM S. CARAWAY (b. 1821) on 27 October 1847. I have not been able to positively connect the two sisters to JOSEPH GLOVER. He was a Revolutionary War vet who applied for a pension, but did not mention either daughter in that document. Have you been able to connect the two sisters through some document or Bible records to JOSEPH and CELIA? H ow about a proper name for SIS? If so I would appreciate it very much if you would let me know. Regards, Knox Martin
