I am looking for information on the parents of James Gabriel Glynn, my g grandfather, born c. 1837 in New York. Family history says that his parents (unnamed) arrived from Ireland about that time. He served in the Civil War on the Union side in the 15th Regiment of New Hampshire and later as a clerk for the USNA. He married Mary Elizabeth Andrews, had several children, among them my grandmother, Chloe Fairfax, b. 1890. I would like to find out his parents' names and where they came from in Ireland.
