mrs. mason hello to another slzburger.....i am from the line ----reiser and shearouse, tho spelled difently when they are listed....i am ruth exley mccirmick, but not the salzburger exleys[ another time if you are interested i have a cousin who has been to langenan,ulm,germany...he has done so very much researce on the exley, and has discovered that indeed our exley were exliles at the same time, our branch of exleys[ oschle] remained in germany ,,but migrated to england later and our john exley came from there. [ i will have to apologise to lillis exley daughter of guy and miss wilson.....when we were in 9th grade and the new latin teaching calling the roll ,of course ] came before ], and i quickly said "but we are not the same exleys."...ha! [ humor] as my 9 yr old writes to me.....anyway what i really want to learn is were bowers and george gnann fit in with Jacob ? i am sure no suprise to you that i am closly[as efinghham salzburgers say ] to bowers two children ,bowers, jr and pauline gnann seckinger. bowers,sr mother was my grandmother charlotte salome hinely' aunt jane hinley. pauline and bowers mother was althea exley my fathers 1st cousin---once removed, or as we say 2nd cousin. althea was the grandaughter of the 3rd exley to arrive in ga.arrive in ga. also i want to know if the new salzburger geneology is anywhere near publishing? although untold and greatly appreciated is your mothers book....none of us would have ever found out who we came from without her,,,,,well i had mine, but i amsure most salzburgers had no idea....we owe her an undying gratitude............i have been a life member longer than i can remember so i keep up with what is in the newsletter, but i no longer able to drive [only in town] and do not get there as often as i would like. my children take me when they go........ i will be glad to help in any way that i can....i am a neophyte at the computer,but am taking classes , and have a tutor coming next week, so if i can help will you please let vince or whoever is guiding that let me know....i was able to e-mail letter to vince last week, but my email i all wacky and i cant get in right now............... i f you can help me with fo;;ing the gnann line from their arrival i will most gratful thank you,,,,ruth exley mccormick born in effingham to addie shearouse[who ms.pearl knew] and george carlyle exley. again many thank yous...rem
