Thanks for both replies and all the info - it's really helpful, I've since found out that my Margaret is the daughter of Charles Maximillian Robespiere Goat and Mary J Rogers. So she is the niece of Frederick and Margaret (1834-1899) Goat. Does anybody know the details of the parents of Samuel Goat and Margaret Cock, or the father of Mary Jane Rogers?

I can email a photo of my Margaret with her children and grand children - if anyone would like to have it just let me know. I would love to see photos of any of the other Goats if anyone has any and would be kind enough to email them to me - I'd be so grateful. I also have the marriage certificate of my Margaret Goat to Joseph Wolfson which shows her connection to Charles MR Goat and I would be happy to scan and email it to anyone who would like it for their records.

Chris, they sure are some impressive names - I'm looking forward to adding them to my tree:-)

I'll probably come back for more info once I've assimilated all this into my research!:-)
