Gobin researchers, please note that Genforum also has a "Goben" family page. The spelling was not consistent in early records, but I believe most all the Gobins and Gobens in the 1700s and early 1800s were related. I have several ancestors whose name is alternately spelled Goben or Gobin in different records.
