Looking for the parents of Joseph Godin married to Ester Suprenant. According to the 1861 Canadian census in Laprairie part of Montreal South, Joseph was 36, Ester was 30. At that time they had 6 children. Ester Godin 10,Ludger Godin 8, Joseph Godin 6, Maarcelline Godin 4,Adeline Godin 2, and Arthur Godin 1.
ludger was my Great Grandfather he died in Fitchburg, Massachusetts on April 6, 1930 at the age of 77. His children were Eugene,george, Edmond, Ovila,Daniel and a daughter Sister Eugenie of the F.C.J. convent. In Ludger's obituary it said he had brothers Slphonse and Marcel of Canada.
