Louis, I thank you very much for replying to my search on Julia Goguen. I have the information that you have just sent me but you were not to know that. I appreciate any and all help.
Just in passing, I had a hard time finding my mother (Elmire) in the 1911 census because she (as well as my aunt Sarah)were listed as the daughters of Julia and Edouard LeBlanc and using the LeBlanc name. They were actually nieces of this couple.
Also the maiden name for Elisabeth was Goguen.
I have the parents of Julia as Jean Goguen b 3 Feb 1844, Cocagne, d 2 Aug 1912. He married Lucille Bourque (b 14 Feb 1850, Acadia) on 13 June 1894.
Jean was the son of ...
Augustin Goguen b 13 Apr 1810, Cocagne and he married Elisabeth Goguen (b 29 Apr 1815) on 23 Aug 1869.
This is as far as I have been able to go back.
I posted what I have just in case anyone else is searching the Goguen records.
Thank you again for your interest........Doris
