I have a Joseph Gold for whom I am having great difficulty locating ancestry, but Joseph appears in every generation, so I am looking at all possibilities. This Joseph reported having been born in Md c. 1818, of parents also born in Md. Could any part of Pa have been part of what was called Md around or before the Rev. War? Thank you!
