Does anyone have info on the surname GOLD that might have been changed from Galansky in the Philadelphia Pennsylvania area, From what I understand the family were russian Jews My great grandfathers name might of been Mordicai Galansky so I'm having a hard time finding out any info on the the golds in philadelphia maybe because of the name change when they came to america so believe me any help would be appreciated thank you
