Gold born 15 Feb 1825 and died (by drowning) on 20 Aug 1867. He had married Mary E. Smith on 26 Sep 1850. I do not have the names of any children. Charles' parents were Joseph Gold and Harriet Landry of Baltimore. Joseph was a sea captain and was master of the privateer "Burrows" in 1813.
