I am descended from MICHAEL GOLD, who was the farher of THOMAS GOLD of Alabama. THOMAS' older brother was JONATHAN GOLD. They were both veterans of the Creek War. Their brother DAVID GOLD was killed at the Battle of Talledega, and their other brother Zachariah was wounded there. MICHAEL GOLD was a Continental Soldier in the Revolution. If I'm not mistaken, PETER HOLLAND GOLD was descended from this line. I think his mother was a Holland, and they all lived in Lincoln County, TN, after the Revolution. Am I correct?
