Another posting of a few years ago(1998)from another individual stated that Susannah had married a John ROBERTS likely before 1803, probably while her parents were living in Seneca Co., NY. Further that this John Roberts died in Boone Co., IN in 1840. Additionally, I have seen a New York Seneca County court clerk signed statment that William W. Gold (Grandson of James and Martha(Webster) Gold) told him that Susannah married to John Roberts had an adjacent farm with the families of Nancy, Martha and James "Jr." in Franklin Cty., In. Additionally, a Franklin County 1840 census index has John Roberts listed as being a Francis county resident. Do you think that the marriage to the previously mentioned George Taylor might have been the second marriage for Susannah ?
