I found in the Jackson County courthouse papers where Solomon WININGER's land was being sold and the money divided among his heirs. I now can prove the children of Elijah and Fannie WININGER GOLD. They were all listed in this transaction Nov. 22, 1922.

Lucinda GOLD, Mary married a WEST, Malissa married a JAMES, Ruth married a GRAHAM & SANDERS, Martha married a GRIDER, Samuel GOLD, Elisa "Ligie" married a SHELTON and Jasper GOLD. When the land was sold Francis WININGER GOLD was dead so her part of the land went to her children. Jasper GOLD was also dead so his share was divided between his two children: Erskin and James GOLD.

This should prove that Elijah and Fannie GOLD were NOT the parents of Mable and Lily GOLD.
