I have a Captain Paul Gold
Born about 1771 Died 1839
Wife sarah Gold also died 1839 buried in New Cathederal Cemetery, Baltimore City, Maryland.

From the 1829 City Diectory:
Thompson, Thos carpenter, Sharp near Baltimore
Thompson Thomas, carpenter, Eutaw, N of Franklin
Gold Joseph, sea captain, dw 40 s Charles st
Gold James, teacher, 45 s Charles st
Gold Peter, sea captain, 53 s Charles st
(no Paul but see below. These guys were probably all related.)

From the 1833 City Directory:
Gold James, teacher, s Charles N of Pratt st
Gold capt. Paul, 50 s Charles st
Goldcapt. Peter, 51 s Charles st
Gold capt Joseph, 23 Charles st
