GOLD IN TENNESSEE AND JACKSON CO. ALABAMA

I am most interested in the first three children of Peter Holland GOLD. I know that I can't prove this BUT Peter was first married to Rachael PHILLIPS/PHILIPS. It does say in his pension papers that he was first married to Rachael PHILLIPS and that she was dead. This statement was given by his second wife Elizabeth ALRED. Elizabeth and Peter didn't marry until 1846 or 1848 so the first three children had to be Rachael's. Their names were Mary Ann, Thomas and Elijah P. GOLD. Elijah is my great grandfather. Who did Mary ANN marry and who did this Thomas GOLD marry? There were several Thomas GOLD in the family. This thomas would have been born around 1842 period. Mary Ann was the oldest. You can find this family in the 1850 Jackson County census living close to Thomas GOLD and also the family of Elijah PHILLIPS which I think is the parents of Rachael. Can anyone find Peter H. GOLD in the 1830 and 1840 census? I would love to see these.

Thanks
Regina
