Hi Linda.thank you for getting back to us.the Golds and Hewletts are Dougs relations.Leban and Keziah had a daughter named Phoebe b.1868 she was married to George Golds he was born in 1865,one of their children was also named Phoebe she is or was Dougs late mother .ive been in touch with people on Genes Reunited, they gave me access to their family trees and goodness me i cant work any of it out, their names go on through the generations, theres 4 of James ,2 Lebans ,etc ,really confusing.yes once weve visited the places where they worked and lived ill get back to you ,we only live about 3miles from Wiston ,washington all the villages are around us ,so il pack a picnic and do the rounds,we will be going into all the churches as we know alot of both families are buried in the grave yards in each village.im trying to work out what relation Doug would be to your husband ,cousins so many times removed i assume ,i can never work it out .take care .Sheila and Doug.
