From the diary of my 5th great grandfather Rev. Oliver Hart:
"Wednesday Evening [31 Dec 1788] I married Mr William Barrey [sic] to Miss Ruth GOLDEN at the House of her Father Mr Jacob GOLDEN in Hopewell [New Jersey.]"
The date is derived from the previous entry of "Lord's Day Dec'r 28" and the following entry "Thursday ...January 1st, 1789"
I am not related to either the GOLDEN family or the BARRY family and have no further information.
The diary is part of the Oliver Hart collection in the South Caroliniana Library at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC.
