Hi Kathryn,

We have chatted before about your Matthew Golden. Check out this site on the Internet for a map of the counties in a year you choose.

http://www.familyhistory101.com/maps/ga-maps.html

Yes, Henry Golden's children were in Warren Co., GA. They are, as far as I know, unrelated to my Mark Golden, b:1762. It is possible that the William Golden, Sr. b: abt.1750 who was in Lincoln Co.,GA during 1801-1827 and most likely the son of the old John Golden, d:1801 there, COULD be related to the old Henry Golden who married Sarah Newsom. I have seen her father, Solomon Newsom, listed on the 1787 Wilkes Co.Tax Digest.

I have been researching these families for a while and think I'm about to find some answers.

Anita
