Sherry, I have been assisting my cousin from the Woolfolk/Golden line and do have a little bit of information which I would not have if we had not connected through the Woolfolk/Bowie. This is what I have found for him on the Goldens so I will share it with you. My Woolfolk
cousin is descended from Simpson W. Golden:
James Golden born South Carolina and Sarah Maria Falks also
born South Carolina Married: 31 Oct 1844 - St. Claire County, Alabama. All their children were born in Alabama.

James Golden born 1815 - Sarah Maria Falks born 1824 in Marlboro County, S. C. Died in Alabama Her parents were John Jones Falks (Faulks)1790-1866 and Malsey Miegs
born 1798. I have a prtial list of their children. John Jones Falks and his wife Malsey Miegs both died in St. Claire County, Alabama.
Let me know from which of James' children you descend and I
may be able to Help you more. Simpson's descendants are
(Most of them) in Tate County, Mississippi.

Hope this will help. I love sharing information.

Until Later, Ruby Woolfolk Yount
