I'm searching for the ancestors of my grandfather, Nathan Goldfoot, whose father was Chaim Itzhak Goldfoot"Goldfuss". The census says he came from Russia, which was probably Lithuania, as he was a "Litvak". Nathan came to USA in ca. 1899. Oral history says he traveled with a brother or brothers to England first, then came alone to USA. Father stayed in Lithuania, I presurme.
