My family was originally from Hamilton, Ohio. We left Hamilton in 1962. My grandfather was John Goldrick - he owned a roofing company off of High Street - I think it was on Center Street - he died when I was a small boy in the late 1950's. My father, James R. Goldrick and his brother Jack Goldrick took over the business when my grandfather died. My dad passed away in 1975 at the age of 52. We moved from Hamilton to Texas via Bowling Green, Ohio and have been in Texas since 1964. I am in Dallas and have a brother, James R. Goldrick, Jr. in Austin, as well as a sister in Austin - Pamela Sue Goldrick Williams. I came upon this site by accident and saw that you referenced a Goldrick in Hamilton, Ohio - I was never aware of any other Goldrick's in Hamilton - there are very few in Texas - only one other that I am aware of in Austin. I am curious if there is any connection. My mother, Patsy R. Greenwood Goldrick is alive and well in Dallas. Please let me know if any of the above rings a bell. Thanks. Doug
