Hi Eileen, that's the first I have heard of that story. I will check with my parents to see if they remember anything. My family of Gollan's are all still living in and around Dundee. We have been in Canada since 1967 but have been back home many times. My Grandparents were William and Davina. I will post a new message with any new info. on this subject. I also have been in touch with a site here in Canada called..The Gollans of Canada. It's been great finding out how many Gollans there are here and hearing everyone's stories. I guess the Gollans have been in Canada a lot longer then I thought. Have a Merry Christmas and a great New Year............Keep in touch Tommy Gollan
