Henry W. & Ruth Gollihugh are not the parents of Bazel, Susan and Emily. Henry did die before 1850--his estate was inventoried on January 12, 1850, so he would have died not too long before that. Ruth remarried at least twice (her marriage to Wesley Carter says three prior marriages), first to Philemon Lacy and then to Charles Wesley Carter, but had no more children.
In 1871, a deed was executed, selling the land which had belonged to Henry, to Levi. So all the other heirs were party to its sale [Levi retained his inheritance, and was purchasing the remainder]:
Ruth Carter
Elihu Gollihugh and his wife Ellen [Messer]
A. C. Fraley and his wife Elizabeth [Gollihugh]
Levi (actually, his widow and children) & Elihu all ended up in Texas. They all retained the "Gollihugh" spelling. The Fraleys were located in Elliott County, where Ruth died in 1887.
That the two families have names in common is not at all unusual, particularly considering the fathers were brothers as well as the mothers sisters.
