Hi. Actually, I think the "Little Skirt" or "Mini" is more accurate. My father, Dominick Gonnella, whose father, Antonio Gonnella, came to the US from Italy, told me years ago that our name means "Little" or "Mini Skirt" and that's what I'm sticking with! I think it's pretty cool. I have seen my first name to mean "the dark one" so I guess I'm a Dark Mini Skirt!
