Fanny L Good born about 1866 England
Posted by: Cheri Astrahan (ID *****3537) Date: June 16, 2009 at 17:11:27

Fanny L Good, daughter of Robert Good (1843-1911) married James Stewart (1853-1894) of Scotland and lived in Gateshead, Durham, England from 1890-1894. She then took her three small girls, Rachel, Jessie, and Isabelle to the USA to live with her father, Robert Good, who lived in Detroit, MI. I cannot find any trace of Fanny after the ship passenger list of 1895 for the "Servia." What happened to her? DId she die in Michigan? Did she remarry? Did she go back to England? Also, who is her mother. Robert Good came to MI in 1869 with his spinster sister Isabelle Good. They stayed there until they died. He raised his grandchildren with his sister. All three girls married in Detroit. Isabelle Stewart moved to CA with her husband, William J McMenamin and had two living children in CA and was divorced about 1928. Jessie married a Gearns and Rachel married a Norris. One of the Norris boys also came to CA. Any info welcome.
