Ila, I believe that Wake and Rutherford Co, was where they were...may have been others, that I don't know! Who were your ancestors...mine was James Clark Goode, son of Thomas Goode, son of Joseph Goode, son of Samuel Goode Jr, son of Samuel Goode Sr, son of Samuel Edward Goode, and I'm not sure who his father was...either the John Goode of England and mother was Martha Frances Mackerness, or the last Samuel Goode was an indentured servant who came from England? Some of this genealogy is so very confusing...! Don't know if it will ever be settled in my life time...Let me know if there is a common bond...Dee dc_sam@comcast.net
