Hello Herbert,
Thanks for responding to my email regarding the Goode Family of Rutherford Co., North Carolina.
James Napoleon Goode was my great, grandfather.
I have a genealogy book that has been published and it deals with The Goode Family of Four Mile Creek. Are you familiar with this group? Some of them eventually arrived in Rutherford Co., NC and there are still many Goode's living in the county to this day.
