I was asking about the two new books on the Goode family. I think that the subject line changed.

I am from Edmund Goode, of Bedford, VA (m. Sarah Branch). Virginia Cousins has his father as William Goode m. Pheby. When looking at the Bedford records, I find my Edmund as a orphan of Edmund in 1771. Later found a citation in "Williamsburg Wills" for an Edmund Goode = Martha. Children: Edmund, Richard, Martha, Mary. He was of Caroline County with records burned for that time period.

Will be glad to share research.

And, I don't know if I am related to that Edward, or not.
