Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

America Ann Kirkwood is the daughter of William Cushenbury Kirkwod and Mary Matilda Arnold. America married Robert Rankin Goodrum(son of Charles A.Goodrum and Delphia Ann Vannatta)in Seminole, Indian Terr. Oklahoma. Bonnie Beatrice Goodrum was the third of eight children. Two of the children died at a young age, but I do not know the cause of death. Robert Rankin had a brother who disappeared and there are many stories surrounding his disappearence. I've heard the wagon story, but nothing about a swollen river. There is also a kidnapping theory.
I have an unpublished book of family history written by America and Roberts daughter Annie. If you would like, contact me by e-mail clsalonen@aol.com
