England, Thomas Goodrum as far as I can find is the first Goodrum in the U.S. he was christened at St. Giles Cripplegate, London in 1703 and brought over on a convict ship in 1718 or 1719. The Goodrums are from Danish or Dutch descent originally. The name was pronounced Guthram and I believe there was a King Guthram of Dutch heritage.
