David,
I believe the Ga.-Fla. Goodrums may be my bunch, either directly or collaterally, as it was always my information that Thomas Jefferson Goodrum (b. 9/17/1851) came to Texas from Tallahassee (Calhoun Co.), and married Fannie Elizabeth Davis (12/1873) purportedly in Waller Co., Texas, but she could also be from Florida. Wm. B. Goodrum would have been 40 years old in 1851, when T.J. was born, so it's a probability. Patsy Benton Landwehr (my first cousin) has sought info on a Mississippi connection, which I have not heard of.
