Reuben Goodrum was in Company H, 21 Texas Cavalry. He applied for a pension to Texas on 29 Sept. 1906.
By the way, his brother, our ancestor, Thomas was also in the 21st Texas cavalry. The story was always told in our family that he died of dysentery during the war - his war record shows that he was furloughed for illness.
