my source on "Thomas Jefferson" Goodrum comes from family (his daughter, my grandmother, Wessie), and the fact that "Uncle Tommy" was "T.J. Jr.". I'm trying to figure out which one of the Goodrum women married Jay Gould, the railroad tycoon, and founded Prairie View A & M college. This info came from my grandmother and her sisters, but I don't remember her name. She could have been a Page. Maybe she was married and widowed before she married Gould and none of the records show it.
