My mother's family are Goodrums, all having lived in villages near Wymondham in Norfolk for many generations. Our branch of the family were agricultural labourers in a village called Fundenhall. In some early parish records they all called Gooderham. In English books about name origins the name is linked with Goodrich, Goodman etc. It seems to be a name peculiar to Norfolk in origin
