Wrong war, it was the computers fault.
it was the Civil War. He had applied for a pension but it was denied. He was a Pvt in Co. "D" 53 rd Inf. Pension application #s1323.

I can't get any information on my great grand father Geo. Washington Goodrum so I am skipping a generation, mayby two. Harrison was in Carroll Co. Tn at the time G.W. was born, he had a son named Fillmore who could have been married early and been G.W. father also. Harrison was listed in the 1850 cenus as 20 yrs old and the son of Wm. Goodrem.

They were all in McLemoresville, Tn. Carroll Co.

any help would be greatfully received, thanks
