Alice, I believe the Thomas Goodrum that you speak of died in Maury Co. Tenn. I also believe that his brother or father John died in Sumner Co. Tenn. The three Goodrum's listed as patriots or the Revolutionary War from South Carolina were Thomas, John and Allen. I think Allen died in S.C. How your line connects I do not know, but will be glad to discuss it. This is not my line of Goodrums but I feel that they were either uncles or cousins to the Va. Line
