George. Then I assume you are a descendant of William Parker Goodrum, who married Caroline Whitely, also of England?
I am researching this line, as well as Thomas Goodrum in Providence, Rhode Island, with the theory the two are brothers, and that the parents of both are Thomas Goodrum and Ann Parker, he of Fundenhall, Norfolk and she of Ashwellthorpe, Norfolk, England.
