I am looking for the family of John Goodrum born about 1806 in NC and died in GA between 1870 and 1880. He married Mary "Polly" Jolly probably in Anderson County, SC. They had the following children (may be more but don't know of any) Drucilla who married Miles Hart, James Henry Goodrum who married (1) Susan A. Stephens and (2) Alice MNU, Katherine E. Goodrum, Nancy E. Goodrum (one of these two girls married N. E. Newton), Levi "Lee" D. Goodrum, and Robert Goodrum. James Henry Goodrum had children named Thomas Brawner Goodrum, Ela V Goodrum, Albert L Goodrum, William Henry Goodrum, Alice B Goodrum (think she was called Liska), Leon L Goodrum, Lula Mae Goodrum and James Henry Goodrum, Jr. Does any of this sound like a family of Goodrums that could fit into any of the families any of you have researched? Please contact me at if you have any information or leads.
