These seem like older threads, but I too am related to Bennett Goodrum and would love to receive any information I can. My youngest daughter, 30, is gathering old family pictures and having them restored and framed. Her focus is on my father's father's family (the Goodrums). I have a small amount of history (mainly Ms Jewell's history which has a few mistakes that I recognize). I also have a typed history that was created when I was about 13 to raise money to restore the old Cooksey cemetery I think. Any help anyone could give would be much appreciated. I know the Goodrums, Adams, and Cookseys (Wyatt Earp's mother was a Cooksey) all headed to KY from VA and settled there.
