My own branch of the Goodrum family lived in Claiborne County, MS, my great grandfather, John G. Goodrum, born about 1820, place unknown. I have reason to believe that my branch of the family came from England. I have been corresponding with a John C. Goodrum of Chelmsford, England who has sent me some information about the Goodrums, especially in East Anglia. If any of this would help you, I'll be happy to share infiormation with you.
