Your comments on "Goodrum" coming from King Guthrum of the Danes are interesting. It reinforces my own researched conclusions that find it being Danish in origin, and coming from the area of present-day Lincolnshire, England (East Anglia). I also read it is a derivitive of the name "Godwin" the same as Goodwin and Gooderham.
