The G.W. Goodrum b.@1849-50 that you are looking for depends on the area of KY you are looking in. There were 2 sets of Goodrums in KY. One group was in S. KY in the Warren Co area who came from S. VA after 1800. The other group was around Nelson Co KY in the Central part of the state, and came from MD as did a large group of Catholic families, in the late 1700's and early 1800's. Since GW married in TN I would suggest looking at the Southern KY branch, which has connections to the TN Goodrums.
