Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

My belief is that James Goodrum's wife is Sarah Freeman, based on the following record:

Brunswick Co VA Deed Boos Vol 5, 1770-1775 (Bradley). Deed Book 11, Part 2, p. 596
Sary Freeman Goodrum of St. Andrew's Parish in Brunswick Co to Wm. Goodrum of same, 15 pd. All my dower rights to a 374 acre tract in sd parish, which descended to Wm. Goodrum as son & heir of James Goodrum dec'd who was my late husband. Wit: Wm. Gardner, James Jordon, Thomas Jordon, Peter Pelham Jr. CC.

Mary Ann Freeman was her daughter-in-law, and possibly a blood relation to Sarah, but I have not researched that line.
